Artist's Comments: The painting is of Ms. Karissa Van Ostrand, a very talented model and inspiration for the Southern Accent series. Based on one of her modelling photos, with a particular emphasis on expressive realism -- form and color over subject. The title is from the Peter Gabriel song of the same name.
